Often when invited to certain spaces, we have ideas of  what should be done and how. The big headed amongst want to direct ourselves and determine what to be done

At a recently concluded Gathering, a friend confided in me that ushering is not a thing they will.do again because of  how guests behave. The self important get onto your nerves, people do not follow instructions, others think they can donit better etc

This Tooro proverb has however hit the point home. 

As a guest , keep in your lane. Simple
