Dear Miriam

Hello dear Miriam

 

Last night I received the sad news that you had left this earthy body to go and meet our saviour and Lord Jesus Christ. I say sad news because we shall not see you in the physical form that we know in this world. Sad that we will not see you again although we know that you have gone to a better place. Sad that we will not hear your hearty loud laughter and passionate conversations. Sad that Jack will miss you and so will you dear children. Sad that we shall miss your jokes and how you used to tease us

 

I know that our Lord and God also feels sad about this day. For Psalm 116:15 NKJV says that “Precious in the sight of the Lord
Is the death of His saints.” However, I know that we shall meet again when meet before our Lord Jesus Christ. Yes we shall. For all this is but temporary. I am encouraged by these words:

 

The Coming of the Lord

13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. 15 For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord,[d] that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.

Rest with the Angels Miriam. Rest with our Lord Jesus Christ. We know that you are in a better place. Nonetheless, we shall miss you dearly.
